We recommend to use OS X operation system and "Homebrew" package manager to install OpenCV. The source code is modified to use laptop built in camera.
- Install Homebrew.
- Install OpenCV 2 and numpy.
- Install Flask for website development.
- Set up AWS account to support connection from your device to AWS DynamoDB
- Install Boto for connecting to AWS DyanmoDB.
- Download source code from the project Github
- Run the upload.py file to start human detection.
- Run the webserver.py file to start the publish website.
- Change your position in front of the camera, and open the website (index.html) to see the occupancy status.
